头骨宽阔，呈现为圆形改良的楔形。身体长于宽。成年公猫允许有适度的腮肉。头与身体成比例的小，但不能过分小。

COAT

短而服帖，丝滑柔软细腻。允许小猫被毛稍长。质地：质地厚实，奢华，触感异常柔软。银尖是豹猫毛质的一个加分项，是毛尖的一个真空结构，在阳光下，豹猫的毛可以闪闪发光。源于豹猫是唯一一个普遍认可的跨种繁育品种（源于ALC亚洲豹猫与家猫品种的杂交），这是一个单独的隐性基因，带给豹猫被毛一种金属感的外观和柔软的质地。虽然孟加拉猫的光泽是独一无二的，但它不是必需的，整体造型要优先考虑。

对比度CONTRAST：

斑纹与底色的对比必须是非常明显的，有清晰的图案和明显分界的边缘。底色从家猫身上的刺鼠基因而来，这种特殊的基因让底色更清晰。底色越白净越好，这样会让对比度显得更干净强烈。花纹则给了毛发更多的对比度。

豹猫的花纹只分为两种：豹点和大理石。

豹点SpottedPattern

零碎的，水平的或者是倾斜的都可以。没有固定形状的优劣，流畅自然就好。尽可能少的鱼骨刺花纹或者是断了的经典虎斑纹。玫瑰纹是指，在一个斑纹中有两种或两种以上不同的颜色，但并非必须。形状：爪印纹、箭头、甜甜圈、半圆形、簇状或奇数形状均可，与其他品种花纹有区别。花纹与底色形成很好的对比度，有明显的边缘色，与家猫花色有明显区别。强壮的，突出的下巴以及很强烈的眼圈颜色是最理想的。豹猫的脖子线条，可以是断开的，也可以是闭合的。浓淡不均的水平的肩膀花纹是理想的。腹部必须有豹点。脖子以下的T区还有整个腹部，如果是白的，那会是非常好的一个加分项，就像亚洲豹猫（alc）和其他丛林豹猫物种一样。白色，清晰的，对比度好的眼圈颜色，属于加分项。

非常独特的豹点肚子，而且是很狂野的白色腹部

大理石花纹MarbledPattern：

大理石花纹源于经典虎斑纹基因，这是一种特殊的，与经典虎斑有较大区别的花纹。花纹是一种流畅的大理石花色，或者是在猫被撑起来的时候的一种水平的线条感。鱼骨刺一样垂直向下的花纹是不理想的。最受欢迎的的是三色或者更丰富颜色的花纹，即为：底色，花纹色，以及花纹与底色之间的黑色边缘色。对比度需要很强烈，明显的边界色很重要。强壮，突出的下巴线条还有对比度很好的白眼圈是非常好的。项圈花纹可以断开也可以不断，肚子必须是有花纹的。白腹：脖子以下的T区还有腹部如果是白色的，那是非常好的加分项。就像亚洲豹猫以及其他丛林猫品种一样的白腹部，这是非常好的。白眼圈这种与家猫有明显区别的花色，是很好的加分项。

由于豹猫是家猫与非家猫基因的交互作用，还有从鱼骨刺，经典虎斑纹，还有非家猫品种（亚洲豹猫）身上特殊的花纹的交互作用，所以花纹花色有时候是很难确切的说是大理石纹或者是豹纹的。在繁育人选择这些特质的时候，必须考虑到以后需要符合品种标准的要求。那时候需要考虑到的是非家猫基因的交互作用下的特殊性。
